Regular admission is accepted only at the start of the new session in April. However, registration of students for admission begins from 15 th January. A student seeking admission to Class I must attained the age of 5 years on or before 1 st April of the year in which the admission is sought. A corresponding age limit may be calculated for other classes.

Admission Process

The Admission Process comprises the following stages:

  • Submitting the duly completed Registration Form
  • Appearing for the Admission Test
  • Collecting and submitting the Admission Form and the relevant documents and payment of the School fees.

Application for Admission

The duly completed Registration Form must be submitted to the School Office on or before the last date along with a certified true copy of the child's birth certificate.

Admission Test and Interaction

Parents are intimated about the date and time of the Admission Test and interaction. Every effort is made to ensure that the Admission Tests are as free from stress and anxiety as possible. The written tests are conducted in the following subjects: English, Maths and General Science for that particular Class.

Admission Decision

Decisions regarding admission will be conveyed to parents within 10 days of the test. The decision of the Admission Committee is final and no correspondence or discussion in the matter is entertained.

Acceptance of Admission

  • Admission will be confirmed on receipt of the following, within the specified deadline:
  • Fees
  • Refundable Security deposit
  • Original Transfer Certificate from the School last attended
  • One certified true copy of the last attended School Report

Fee Schedule

  • Admission Fee and Security Deposit: A non-refundable Admission Fee and a refundable Security Deposit are payable at the time of admission. Details of other fees are provided at the time of admission.

  • In addition to the fees mentioned, parents are required to meet the expenses of books, school uniform, school bus service (if availed), educational tours and excursions, fees for Public/Board Examinations and any other requirement in connection with their child's education at the school.

  • The fees are payable bi-monthly in six installments along with the annual fee on or before the 15 th of April, June, August, October, December and February. A late fee of Rs.2/- per day is charged in case of payment after the due date.

  • All the fees are to be paid by cash or by way of demand draft drawn in favour of Swami Hariharanand Public School (payable at Hardwar ) and deposited at Syndicate Bank, R.K.Mission Branch, Kankhal.

  • The Security deposit will be refunded without interest on completion of the child's studies after adjustment of dues (If any) including School Fees, damaged to, or loss of, library books, laboratory equipment, computer facilities and other equipments or assets of the School.

  • Under no circumstances will the fee paid to the School be refunded.

  • The fee schedule is subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of the Swami Hariharanand Public School management.
